Jaci is in and out of Los Angeles reading
for upcoming film and television
opportunities and preparing for her voice
over for the part of “Mary” in
Muvi Film’s animated film, “Angel
of The Amazon”. The film will be
released in both North and South America.
Jaci will be singing up to three songs on
the soundtrack. |

"IT’S A WRAP…"
JACI VELASQUEZ has spent
quite a bit of time in front of the
camera lately. This time, however, it’s
for television. JACI recently
wrapped up a week’s worth of taping
for the Nickelodeon TV series “Taina.”
In her television-acting debut, JACI
plays Yvette, a senior at the Manhattan
School of the Arts. The show’s
director is none other than Kim Fields,
aka “Tootie” of the popular
1980’s sitcom “Facts Of Life.”

NEW DUET
New Track by Son By Four and Jaci
Velásquez Soon To Hit Radio
Included in the upcoming album, "Son
By Four Salsa Hits," the track
"Vida Mia" has been serviced to
all major radio stations in the US and
Puerto Rico. "Vida Mia" is a
duet by Angel López and Jaci Velásquez,
written by Carlos Javier Montes. A salsa
version of the song was arranged by José
M. Lugo and a ballad version by Lewis
Martinee.
This new album includes the best salsa
hits by SB4, winner of seven Latin
Billboard awards. The repertoire includes
a variety of re-known producers such as
Omar Alfano, Alejandro Jaen, Sergio
George, Lewis Martinee y Ceferino Cabán,
among others.
Son by Four Salsa Hits hits stores May 29th. |

FLY AWAY DOVE
The 32nd
Annual Dove Awards
were held on April 26, 2001. Although
Jaci was nominated for several awards,
including "Female Vocalist of the
Year," she did not win any. Jaci did
however perform a live, full orchestra
version of "Adore"
from her Crystal Clear
album. The Doves will air on WGN Friday,
May 4th and on PAX-TV May 5th and 6th. (check
local listings)
